Just a little thought

So, Ive been confused. Lately, my life has been better than ever. Ive got a new girlfriend, started quitting smoking, caffiene, and junk food, actually started doing well in school…..basically just doing good. 
My confusion is this..during the day, Im amazing..some people say this is the happiest theyve ever seen me! At night though…I get hit with some pretty serious depression. I find myself lying in bed just wishing…dreaming…hoping things would stay the same even though i know they wont. If my life has taught me one thing its that nothing lasts forever. I invest myself so much in things that make me feel good and they end up hurting me. I guess Ive sort of become addicted to the pain that it brings. 
Basically, I feel like there is just 2 sides to me that are always fighting and im the sole casualty. Its as simple as day versus night, but at the same time as complicated as fight versus flight..ya know?

 These are some lyrics from a song called “the war inside of me” by a local band named “After You”. Back in my sophmore year I was having a pretty hard time with life, and had even contemplated suicide more than a few times. Then a man who is still to this day one of the biggest father figures in my life showed me this band and helped me..for a while anyway. 

So, what do i do followers? if any of you even see this :p I just like, im happy with my life right now..more than happy! I cant fing anything wrong really…during the day. How do i stop myself from thinking about the future so much? How do i get over this semi-depression (if you can even call it that)? I mean..I know I cant go the way of medication because of my naturally addictive nature so do any of you have any suggestions? my ask boix is always open. Im gonna go take some advil and lay down, hopefully i will get to sleep so i can play some more gotham city imposters tomorrow and maybe even go to the mall. Peace out and stay beautiful.
